Savannah to Rock Creek

Today we left Savannah and went 74 mile to an anchorage on Rock Creek.  The winds and traffic were light!  We left the Isle of Hope dock at about 6:45 and we're stopped by about 4:15.

We crossed the Savannah river and entered South Carolina.  We passed Beaufortand had to wander through the sailboats who decided it was okay to anchor IN THE CHANNEL, ON THE ICW DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE BEAUFORT MORRING FIELD!  It is just like being back in Florida!  No wonder Florida has so much trouble with anchor laws and deadbeat boaters!  You know, now that I think about it, the only place I think we have seen abandon boats has been in Florida.  And that is since we started the trip in Iowa!

Now, back on track... A few pictures from Savannah and along today's route.
