Thursday July 3, 2014- We departed Little Current and headed toward the Benjamin Islands, a popular spot due to the pink granite. While nice, we didn't think it was that much more spectacular than Henvey Inlet. We spent some time trying to find a good anchor spot to get us out of the wind but eventually moved on as there were already several boats in the best locations. We traveled on a few miles to Fox Island and worked our way back into Fox Harbour. There was already one boat anchored back in the cove and another followed us in. We hadn't had this much company in Georgian Bay. We found a spot away from the other boats and anchored and tied the stern to a tree on shore. Jim finally had some luck fishing and landed some nice size bass.
The next day we moved on and went down to Otter Island but the terrain didn't provide enough protection from the wind so we headed for John's Island. There was a steady stream of boats heading into the harbor so we decided to try a cove on the north side of the island, it ended up being a great spot and we stayed a couple of days. We had the cove to our self with a nice pebble beach and the blueberries were just ready to pick.

Sunday, July 6, 2014 - We crossed the North Channel and stayed the night at Meldrum Bay. A very nice marina for the size of this tiny village.
Monday, July 7, 2014 - Time to go back to the US. We cruised to Drummond Island, Michigan and cleared customs and then went on to Detour, MI and stayed at the marina. Imagine that, they sell beer in the grocery store here.
