Off to The Benjamin Islands

Today is Thursday July, 3 2014 and we are leaving Little Current heading for an anchorage in or near the Benjamin Islands.  We will most likely not have internet access until we clear customs back into the USA.  We will most likely spend about five days plus any extras that we spend in any one spot.  The wind is supposed to blow a bit today and Friday out of the west and north, so if we find a really good spot today we may stay put until Saturday morning.  We plan to clear customs in Drumond Island and that puts us a short day trip from the Makinaw Island area of Michigan sometime next week or early the following week.

Here are a few pictures from the south dock in Little Current.

Panel shot!  We used about 150 gallons of fuel from Port Severn to Little Current.  We purchased 420 liters yesterday and in the picture below you can see that I had not yet reset the fuel meters.  Very interesting huh?

Generator Panel.  We run the generator for about 3 hours a day when we are not plugged into shore power.  This keeps the invertor batteries charged up, which runs the fridge among a few other items on board.

Overview chart for today's travels.  We are the blue dot in the lower right corner.

And we will find a spot someplace in this mess of rocks!
